Our stay at The Getaway Villa was absolutely perfect! The accommodation was impeccably clean and tidy, and we appreciated the excellent cooking facilities and food storage. The spacious shower and bathroom were a nice touch, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The views from the villa were stunning, and we enjoyed the bonus of a visit from the friendly cat. The seating area outside provided a lovely spot to take in the scenery, and the location was ideal for accessing good walking routes.
Didn't dislike anything about the villa. 😊

Lovely secluded location with a stunning view of the surrounding fields and hills. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning, enjoying breakfast in the sun and spotting birds in the trees. Communication with the owners was excellent, making it easy to find and access the property. The fridge was stocked with 2 pints of milk, fruit, and biscuits, which was a nice surprise and meant breakfast was sorted. The fold-down bed was surprisingly comfortable, and when folded up, it created a spacious seating area with a good-sized table. The shower room was clean and the shower itself was hot and efficient. The pub next door served a delicious dinner.
The property could use a shelf in the bathroom and hooks on the back of the door for convenience. It took a while for the property to cool down upon arrival, even with all the windows open.

My stay at The Getaway in Hassocks was beyond amazing! The shepherd hut was spotless and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and stunning views. The proximity to the bus stop made it convenient to explore Brighton. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
The fold down bed was a bit heavy to handle.

The value for money at this cozy hotel was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The location was perfect for exploring the South Downs Way, and the staff were friendly and accommodating during our stay at Wolstonbury Getaway.
The breakfast could have been improved by providing a draining rack for the dishes and cutlery used in the excellent cooking facilities.

The communication with the owners was excellent and made finding the property a breeze. The small touches like having milk, fruit, and biscuits in the fridge were a welcome surprise and ensured we had a nice breakfast. The cooking facilities were great and allowed us to prepare our own meals. The fold-down bed was surprisingly comfortable and easy to use. The outdoor seating area was comfortable and provided a beautiful view.
We were disappointed by the lack of a draining rack for the dishes and cutlery. It would have been helpful to have one in order to properly dry them.

The location of this hotel is fantastic – it is surrounded by stunning countryside and offers beautiful views. I also appreciated the privacy of the hotel, as it was tucked away and allowed for a quiet and peaceful stay. Additionally, the hotel provided all the necessary amenities, including comfortable beds and a well-stocked fridge with snacks and drinks.
When I arrived at the hotel, the room was quite warm and took some time to cool down, despite opening all the windows. Additionally, the lack of shelves in the bathroom and hooks on the back of the door made it challenging to hang up towels or clothing, which was a bit inconvenient.

It was the perfect size for one or two travelers and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. the instructions for getting there and accessing the property were easy to follow. I loved the private and secure feel of the villa, and the compact yet spacious layout allowed me to move around freely. the location was great, with a footpath leading to the nearby village for shops and amenities. The highlight was the beautiful outlook over the fields and hills, where I could relax and enjoy the sun while spotting birds. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! ❤️.

The communication with the owners was spot on, making it easy to find the place and get in. Plus, they had the thoughtful touch of providing milk, fruit, and biscuits in the fridge, saving us from having to worry about breakfast. The fold-down bed was surprisingly comfy, and it was clever how it created extra space in the room. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying the beautiful view on a sunny evening. And to top it off, the nearby pub served up a tasty dinner.
The size of the room was a bit cramped, especially with the bed folding down over the table. It would have been better if we could have used the decking outside in the summer months.
